Castles are something that takes us back to our ever cherished childhood days. Remember the sketchbooks where we drew the castles along with the dome towers, multiple windows, the huge doors, flowing streams, rock-cut paved roads, birds, blue sky and so many more. The stories of Cinderella, Sleeping beauty, and Beauty and the beast would take us to the imaginary world. Even Harry Potter also gave me the same level of excitement.

Taking this as inspiration I started off with my #wearableart project where I hand painted a blue shaded pure silk with a vintage-styled towered castle and little egrets can be seen flying in the blue sky atop the castles. The color coordination of white, blue, and yellow gives us a vintage feel. What other better way can one think of reliving the childhood days…
