Traditions are an important part of every wedding and Bengali weddings are all about fun, food, and rituals that bring together two souls. Starting from the decorations with beautiful flowers to the food menu everything is a treat to the eye.
On the day of the marriage brides of other communities visit a spa or a parlor to look look fresh and glowing but Bengali brides get the glow from freshly grounded turmeric paste. The groom first touches the paste and which is then applied to the bride. It is very similar to Holi the difference being only Yellow is used. Women smear each other with the turmeric paste and the attires they wear are mostly red, yellow, and green. Later when the wedding pictures come the scenes are the memories to be cherished forever. Keeping aside the sorrow of parting away from the dear daughter people engage in all fun and laughter.
All the would-be brides, this #wearableart or best-called #wearbletradition is specially designed to make your day special and make you look like the prettiest bride ever. Handpainted on a bright yellow pure cotton this Bengali bridal theme attire is something special to drape on a special day for someone special.\
